Scholarship Details
Apply for 1 of 2 scholarships worth up to $2,000. You will receive $500 per year, for up to four years. Transcripts must be emailed by April 11 to scholarship@northwoodscu.org of each year to receive $500 NCU account deposit in August
Submit a video essay not to exceed 60 seconds, “Explain why you’re a Northwoods CU Member and how you plan to take us to college with you!” Do not use your name in your video essay. Video essays that include your name will be automatically disqualified.
Scholarship Eligibility
– Student must be a Northwoods Credit Union primary member in good standing, meaning loans are not delinquent and shares do not have a negative balance.
– Carry a minimum 2.5 GPA registered for a minimum of 9 credits per semester
– Student must be at least a high school senior graduating in application year and planning to attend an accredited school, college, or university in any state during the following academic year, or a current college student enrolled in an accredited college or university for the fall semester

Complete online application between March 1, 2025 – April 11, 2025. The winner will be announced at our Annual Meeting on May 6th, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Cloquet Public Library Northwoods Credit Union Room.
